I never had particular problem with making myself to go study, I just knew it is something I need to to do to achieve my dream and be successful at school, and sometimes I even enjoy it. Of course, from time to time I got really lazy but somehow I make myself to concentrate again). The last exam time was just challenging and difficult as it was. But about this time first Passenger released his album and shortly after him Ed Sheeran. That's not all- those two albums were absolutely wonderful (even better than I expected)- I had really hard times stop listening to that and start hitting the books. On the other hand, they helped me big-time, their music reduced the amount of stress to bearable amount, I passed (yay!) and now I can listen to these albums without being guilty (Now you get the name of the blog, don't you?).

Why Do I Look Up to Passenger?

Not that it is hard to explain but, I guess, I would be writing it for ever (and unfortunately with about a million grammar mistakes) and I doubt there is anybody who would be willing to hear me out. So I let the music speaks for itself.

...I've played a lot of music in the street. I've been playing music for ten years and for nine and half of those years nothing much really happened. I was just kind of wandering around and playing music in pubs and on the street, whatever. And I wrote this song when I was in youth hostel in Scotland and it was pretty miserable, I was really not great. I love Scotland but this specific evening was pretty sh*t. And I was just tired of bringing my guitare around and playing all these songs and no one ever really listening... I wrote this song to cheer me up and I wanna dedicate it to anybody who is trying to persue something- whether  it is music or acting or photography or juggling or teaching people how to juggle or whatever you are trying to do. And especially if you have people around you always telling it's impossible and you should try to do something proper or get a proper job or whatever. If it sounds familiar, this is for you, it's called '27'...

There are no words which could describe the feeling of holding Whispers Deluxe in your hand. I would never, in a million year, would have thought that a cover of a cd may make me cry, I, actually, had eyes full of tears when I finally saw the physical version (as I was out of my home in May and June, I had only the digital version at first, I thought the album could not be any better). I saw the photo of the Deluxe CD  Mike posted but I honestly think that the beauty of this wonderful thing cannot be captured, you must experience. It really has a feel of a magical children (/fairy tale) book (as Mike wished). I could just sit for hours listening to the album and going through this perfection.

Mike Rosenberg (Passenger) blew up globally thanks to the wonderful single 'Let Her Go'. But he's not one-hit wonder for sure! Busking for i-do-not-know-how-many-years and literally working his ass off paid off. To those who discovered him just lately, he has already released number of cds (higly recommended) before 'Let Her Go' happened.
